The 11th Cleethorpes Folk & Cider Festival will be bigger and better than ever as it returns for another year with live music, Morris dancing, musician and singaround sessions!

Four of Hull and East Yorkshire’s dance teams – Beverley Garland, Green Ginger Garland, Makara Morris and Rackaback Morris – invited Morris Federation members to what was a fabulous occasion all across Hull.

Local teams Rackaback Morris and the Raving Maes brought dance to the Folk in Hull Revue at the Hull Truck Theatre hosted by the Hillbilly Troupe & Friends. To show what Hulls vibrant folk scene has to offer.

The Wilberforcian Steampunk Corporation visited Kingston Upon Hull's most haunted building, The Annison Building, a former Victorian funeral parlour and former headquarters of the mounted police. Rackaback Morris with its Steampunk twist danced for those visiting this iconic building.

Hessle's annual feast returned and The Raving Maes invited the Hull based Rackaback Morris to bring morris dancing to the streets of Hessle.

Rackabacks and the Raving Maes have an outing to Brough and the Ferry Inn.

Throughout the weekend the streets of Beverley town centre came to life with dance teams mixing traditional and contemporary styles in an amazement of sheer colour, technique, energy, and wit. The dancers really sparked the atmosphere of the festival and bring a smile to everyone’s faces.

Rackaback Morris joined teams Silkstone Greens North West Morris, Sullivan's Sword, Hornbeam Molly and Green-Oak Morris-Men to dance around Doncaster City Centre.

Rackaback Morris along with Morris Teams up and down the country continues the tradition of dancing up the sun on Sunday 1st May. The Black Mill on Beverley Westwood saw dancing and singing from 5am and the sun rose at 5:26.

It was auspicious day for traditional dance in Kingston Upon Hull. Following the success of the previous days of dance organised in conjunction with the Hull Folk Festival 2015 was bigger and better. Expanded from the old town area to new sites in the city centre to the festival.
